I was wondering if it is important to use the type of o rings that come on slant originally (square type) or can I just use regular round o rings. Cant stop them from leaking with originals. Anyone have any info on where to pick some up. Thanks for any help. |

Guessing you're talking about the spark plug tube seals. When you say you can't stop the leaking with the originals, do you mean the old originals, or new original-type seals? |

I didn't try anything fancy--went to partsamerica--& purchased the on hand "o" rings-- worked great--- no more leaks & cost less than $6. I do not know what brand or part number. They were some type of gasket material vs a rubber "O" ring. The car is a 62 valiant with a 1965 -225. This is just my experience. Lawrence |

Also you need to remove the crush washers on you spark plugs. ( if it was not done for years and now you do it it can cause a leak because the drool tube is bent) My02. Frank |
