I have a double roller timing chain set from JP Performance and lost the instruction sheet for it ( ![]() |

Stephan You will be MUCH happyer if you just degree the cam!!!! Do a search for degreeing a cam. Frank |

yes degreeing is the better way, also watch the marks you use there will be a 0mark on the tooth and another 0mark on the keyway to be used but line up the two 0marks that are on the gear teeth not the keyway. |

Thanks for the responses and advice. I am all for degreeing the cam, I just wanted to initially set the timing gear to 0* for the degreeing process and had forgotten whether to line the dot on the cam pulley up with the 0* mark on the keyway, or the 0* mark at the teeth. Does someone happen to still have the JP Performance double roller timing chain instructions? Thanks again, Stephan |

to set it at zero or straight up, you line the cam tooth and crank tooth zero marks pointing at each other but make sure the keyway marked zero is on the keyway. ![]() |
