Hylomar blue in the tube. Hard to find, but if it's good enough for Rolls-Royce it's good enough for me:)

I also like the non-hardening compounds used on motorcycles from Threebond - Hondabond, Yamabond, etc.

Yea, permatex doesn't carry hylomar anymore. :cry:


But you can get it from Harley Davidson.

Part No. 99653-85 about $10 for 3.5oz tube.

i didn't know that. I got mine from Valco direct because I couldn't find any around here. It's the new "medium" formulation which is stickier than the old-school permatex "solvent-free" stuff. A friend of mine swears by the spray-on stuff for head gaskets but I'd rather not mess with anything in that application!
