raced my car for the first time last weekend at an event called mopar sunday at willowbank raceway (west of brisbane qld australia). With 2.9 diff gears, 5 speed manual and having never raced before did the best of 14.2 at 94.76 mph... was pretty impressed as i was expecting 15's... got the bug now and im hunting down some diff gears!

Great work! Nice to see another stout Slant on the site - welcome.

I visited Brissy in 2004 - nice town with good folks.

Is there a special bell housing made for this swap or did you use an adaptor plate?

thanks for the welcome fellas... There is a company over here that specialise in 5 speed conversions and its a complete bellhousing that uses the original clutch linkage setup (with a few mods). The company is called dellow... I got a 10 inch clutch conversion by a local custom clutch company that is a lot easier to engage but has heaps of bite... Still contemplating going to a torqueflight, but the supra is heaps of fun...
