Good Luck Nick!

I Doubt You'll See many of the folks from the forum at that race.. But anyway, I am not able to go due to work demands.

I am sure you'll have a blast!

FWIW I'll be there! Look for the ugly gray primer Dart!
Ya know, I tried to get them to bring back the Slant Class but it seemed to fall on deaf ears!
They're too preoccupied with the big money entries! :x

The Slant class has no sponsor so the Blankenships canned it. It will not return until we get a sponsor and pay them to race for them.

Look for more cuts as they continue to try and stop the bleeding.

Thanks for the heads up, Nick.

We will have probably the biggest Slant Six race of the year the following weekend on Sept 20-21 at Bristol Dragway. Probably looking at 20 Slant cars, including at least 6 out of 7 past and present National Champs. Current champ Glen Terry from CA will be towing out.

Lou

ill have to take a look but, i think i got some racing scheduled that weekend aswell...if NOT count me in to make the last minute appearance as id like to lock up the rookie of the year. but if not thats ok...after this season unfortunately im gonna be in the the v8 :( looking to go for big money events gotta be 13.99 or faster....i AM HOWEVER keeping both my current slant six and my 2nd spair slant six motor i got. ill be hopefully nit picking here and again at it and may be having my dad build one bad ass slant six engine for me to return to slant six racing for the future. but it wont be in my 70 duster. im looking to get a second car for JUST that alone...looking to make a fast slant with a turbo setup... hoping to find another cheap duster or dart...or i could love to have an AMX...

i may have a guy with a few dusters that are in ok shape for nearly NOTHING to me. i may put one of them together with the exact same setup i have now...with the stock 225 with 2bbl super six and the granny gears in the 7 1/4...because ill tell u what, that SLOW setup has messed with alot of fast cars. hard to drive the stripe against somthing so slow. lol hard for me to judge very fast cars too but iv managed to drive the stripe pretty good in the car. i have been SUCKED IN to the SLANTED POWER. and after this year ill def have a SLant in the future to bring as well as my 70 with a v8
