Post subject:  Weber Carb Update: New Idle Jets!

Okay, this is on the Weber carb 36DCNVH on an Offy intake, which I have been trying to get to idle right.
I ordered and received a pair of .60 jets from Pierce Manifolds. I installed them this morning (easy install by the way :) ), and turned the idle screws out 2 full turns. She idling better, I'm still going to drive and adjust to see where it "feels right", but I think that I may have a small vacuum leak. I'll look into that time, and weather (it's hot!), permitting. Overall, the slant is running better, and I think I'm gonna like this Weber carb.
Thanks to Lucky13, Wizard, and Rust Collector for their input! :D :D :D
Later guys,

P.S. Check out www.piercemanifolds.com

Yea, once you get a Weber dailed in, they are nice reliable carbs. It just takes some time.

Someone locally is trying to sell one with an adapter for a Jeep.

I think $150 is too much for a used carb. I am wondering if it is a progressive one.

He posted the number but I think he posted the wrong number.
