I'm new here I just bought a 69 dodge dart gt \6 for $850, from a good friend and I'm in need of some info. The wiring harness is shot looks like someone tried to eat it? wires every where. Painless has a kit but its almost 600!!! crazy for some wires! so if you could help me out that would be great! -thanks Dave |

Welcome! Sounds like you're in need of a dash harness. There may be vendors who have new and probably expensive. You might try looking on eBay if you're looking for used.I see you're on Guam - brings back fond memories. I was stationed at Andersen 73-76 (yes went thru Pamela!) and again 78-82. |

thanks, yeah at andersen been here 2 years 2 months. The car is in AZ I actually haven't seen it yet. I can get a dash harness, but I need the one under the hood to the engine too. Is that the same harness? thanks |

I would think the underhood harness would have been available from Year One and probably others as well. I just checked Year One and they don't show a listing for it. However Evan Wiring: http://evanswiring.tripod.com shows a listing for a 69 Dart engine/headlight harness. It is a combined harness and shows a price of $260 with electronic ignition and $245 with points ignition. They made an engine/headlight harness for my 65 Dart and my 66 Barracuda using my originals as patterns and the workmanship was first rate. I'd highly recommend them. Hope this helps |
