I have two dual-field alternators in my garage, both needing rebuilds. Does anyone still sell rebuild kits for alternators? |

The "rebuild kits" you can find at parts stores are trash. Don't mess with them. Either take your alternators to a local auto electrical house for a good going-through, or purchase the parts from same to do it yourself. |

Unfortunately, I don't see the kits in my latest JCW catalog. The kits didn't include the bearings, but JCW sold them separately. |
