Well, the oil issue continues.

My oil light was coming on and I swore the level was fine, yes the dipstick said so, but.......

I feel like a moron, but I remember now that my buddy gave me a used dipstick which is obviously not the right one which was reading full, but I drained the oil today only to find about a half quart or so of oil came out.
I have no big oil leaks or drips on my garage floor so I am suspecting a ring job or worse.

I guess I have to tear it down and either throw a killer small block in it or rebuild the /6.

I'd much rather rebuild the /6 with a little more than stock pep.

Any suggestions would be welcome, and I'd like to keep the budget fairly low.

I could also use a new carb as my 1 bbl leaks and acts up from time to time.

I was thinking some of the clifford performance stuff, but any suggestions would be welcome.
