I think you're referring to the oval anti-rattle spring on the parking brake strut. It is very standard - many models, years, brands will interchange fine. I got a brake kit from Paddock made by Rabestos that included them, but I'm pretty sure any good parts place can still get them. I also recall having seen them in the blister packs, so carry the broken one or a ruler along. Many brands and years look a little different, but work the same.

Some places carry the parts, but can't look them up, so you've got to know what it looks like.

The antirattle spring is probably not something a hardware store would carry, but I've found that AMCs, Fords, and Mopars use about the same spring and in a pinch you should be able to substitute one for another.

The kits I've looked at online don't seem to carry that spring, so you may have to hit a junkyard or take a holddown or similar spring and gently squeeze it in a vice until it has about the proper shape. It isn't a very stiff.

Weird. Guess this is yet another example of parts quality continuing to fall to 3rd-world levels. Last aftermarket drum brake hardware kits I looked at were made in China, too. :-(

A hold-down or other spring could not readily be properly modified to act as an antirattle spring, I don't think. If all else fails, the factory p/n for this spring is 4773 942. Complete Chrysler hardware kit is p/n 4636 772, and includes the antirattle spring.
