Hello all, I typed in "mopar clutch" for a search at ebaymotors and 7 related items came up. They are the clutch bar (Z bar) service kit parts sold separately by SUNSTATE REPRODUCTIONS OF AZ. All 7 items added together at the beginning bid price totaled $120.65. Mopar Performance # P4529447 (clutch bar repair kit for B and E bodies) is $46.25 at buymopar.com in Rhode Island (which I have ordered parts from with satisfaction before). The A body kit is even less at just under $34.00. THIS IS INFURIATING TO ME AND SHOULD UTTERLY DISGUST THOSE IN THE MOPAR COMMUNITY. Based on my little journey into comparison shopping I will not deal with a company who so blatantly screws its customers, no matter what they make or how bad I need whatever part they sell. I still have my dignity. Thanks for listening to my ranting, I could not remain silent on this issue. quarles3@earthlink.net |

One needs to be careful on Ebay. There are many Mopar parts on Ebay that have starting bids and sell for much more than you can buy them at your local dealer. Another example is the steering coupling repair kit. Commonly sold on Ebay for around $25 plus shipping. You can buy it at your dealer for less than $7. cfield@ll.net |

There is a guy on Moparts whose sig is "E-bay, the place where you sell what you won't sell face-to-face!" Realistically, some good bargains can be found there, but it's getting rare. I liked the used Offy Slant valve cover that went for $235 a few months ago. They list new for what, $125? Where are these people when I got something for sale? LOL! Dennis slantzilla@excite.com |

Yes, I've gotten a few bargains on Ebay. Other times bidding goes so high. I've sold quite a lot on Ebay and have done really well on most items. I've even bought items on Ebay and later resold them on Ebay for a profit!! cfield@ll.net |

(let the buyer beware) I will take having too many choices over the alternative, anytime! |

I just bought a brake tool on Ebay, if I would have waited a few hours (1:30 am) the same type of tool went for $50 less. I like this Fenton manifold (Item # 599817761) for a flathead Dodge, but it's really not rare. The price doubled since I last checked it. Does anyone keep a historical database of Ebay final prices so you can see what a particular item has gone for in prior auctions? Quote:
