Hello everybody! I sure hope you can help me. For starters, I am a Mopar Nut. I have (among many other Mopars) an 80 model Dodge truck with a super six and a 3spd OD, 8 3/4 rear w/3.55 gears, and dual gas tanks. The truck is pretty cool and will make me an excellent work truck so I can get rid of my 97 Ram payments... Anyhow, my engine is knocking terribly. I was told the bottom half was good when I got it and had the head redone. Now I find out the bottom half is junk (might have had something to do with the gallons of water in the block when I drained the oil before start up) What I need is one of several things. I need a strong /6 in the NC area, decent set of used overbore pistons, and/or cam/piston suggestions to make this truck fairly strong. I have another engine I might build, but it has worn cylinder walls so it needs an overbore. That is why I would like some pistons. Anybody have any for sale? Ideas? Thanks in advance! My Mopar Site! i might be able to help you out with the motor if you are still lokking in a couple of days. i have 75 d100 3speed with a good running motor that i am planning on selling off cheap if my other project ever gets finished. ill figure that out in a few days when the roads are de-iced and i can get to my other house. you can have the whole truck or just what you need if it all works out. let me know if interested at all. Sounds good to me. Where are you at? Do you have any idea how much you want for the engine? How about the whole truck? Thanks for your reply! What are you working on? I may haver something you need for your project and we can work out some trading. I am really in to Mopars and have a few connections here in NC.
