At Medford I talked to Doc about my Mosquito reduction process during launch.

I will be popping the valve springs for an inspection of the seals, and failing damage to the seals, I'll pop the head loose to see what's going on with the guides.

With the spring and lift rates I've got, I may be pinching the seals and putting too much oil to the valve stems.

A quick look in the rear view on launch reveals I'm hiding the landing craft from the beach! Holy toledo Admiral!

If it's guides, my builder will be handling things. He told me he'd take care of the problem.

If the head comes off, I'll drop the ported head off my old race motor on there. Much smaller valves, but it'll get me by. So how much hose you putting to yours Tristan?

Next up is a heat shield that seals to the hood. I may build the hood scoop out to the nose of the car to catch some more pressure too. The way it's built, I'm afraid I put the intakes in a low pressure zone.

Fun stuff Wot? :D

Hi Ceej

Have a look at these air inlets - Image

Now see, if I hadn't been trying for a cowl inlet, then changed to a front inlet, I'd be in great shape!

I've got the hood cut, and a top scoop started, so I'll take the easy way out and pull the air from the front of the hood.

The car is going away after this season, so I'll be looking for ideas that won't effect the look of the '63 GT. That hood I ain't cuttin'!

Fopar has a set of cold air intakes in his radiator support. He has a bit more to work with in his 53 Ford though. Once I get the radiator I picked up from SlantSixDan mounted, I may be limited as to where I can get some fresh O2 from!

Is that PVC, or something else?

Yep! It's just that close! The hooptie has reached it's acceleration pinnacle. I won't be doing anything more to go faster with it.

Next car! :D

Yogurt huh? That works!
