The carb rebuild kit (Walker) I bought only came with a 318 carb to intake gasket, not the super six carb to intake gasket. Will the 318 one work? |

Please be specific. Which gasket arrived in your kit? Describe it for us, or post a (reasonably small) picture. How thick is it? Two round holes or one big bathtub-shaped hole? End notches or none? And (exactly) what carb are you using? |

That's the one with the notches in the side, right? If so, i've had good luck using them as long as the surfaces are flat, and the carb is properly torqued-down and kept that way. I have not experienced vacuum leaks in the notch areas, however others may have. |

I am using a Carter BBD. The 318 one in this pic is the one I have. Its about 1/2" thick, give or take. |

You ought to be OK using the notched gasket. |
