I would be VERY interested, except, I have not figured out the rectangular tubing that would attach to the flanges, and I really haven't figured out the rectangular to round transitions needed to make this work.

All my headers have a square port in the flange. They just use an expander thingy to make the round pipe fit the square hole. :D

Yeah the mild steel ones look like the way to go I guess he posted those after.

My nubishness is showing here but am I correct in assuming these are used as a clamp-type fit holding the header flange to the head, or is there welding involved?

The pipes are welded into the flange. This is basically the starting point of a "do-it-yourself" header kit.

I need some for the Daytona. My Clifford's and Hooker's won't even come close to fitting in it. :?

The problem is when you post a giant unbroken line it makes the formatting for the whole thread wide enough to fit that line. Unless you have a large high resolution monitor the thread then requires scrolling left and right to be read.

When I made my headers, Put the tube in a vice squeezed them down to the width needed - then put a C clamp on the flattened side- rotated the tube 90 degeres and squeezed the tube to the other dimension. That left the tubes with 4 flattened sides with 4 nice radiuses in the corners.

Really? I've read this forum on several different computers with different sized monitors...and it just word wraps the links automatically. Must be an IE thing I guess, since I use IE.
