Does anyone have a year/model/engine size of car that came with cop brakes? I need this to help lookup some parts...darn autoparts store newbies. Thanks. |

If you want 11.75" rotors and sliding calipers ask for 1979 Chrysler Newport stuff. The Newport is a late B-body like the Cordoba. Brake hoses need to be for an A-body though. |

Thanks -- were these standard on the Newports, or just an option? Is there a specific bore size for the 11.75" calipers? |

11.75" rotors are standard on the '79 Newport. The '76 and later sliding caliper have larger pistons than the earlier ones. |

Yep, big boats got big brakes standard...You might look to see if car-part.com has a wrecking yard near you for the claws... I seem to remember Hillsboro Auto Wrekcing may have what you need... good hunting, -D.idiot |
