Dog-gone it! I just torqued my spare head onto the engine. Is there a different torque spec for the ARP fasteners? CJ |

I run mine at 80 ft/lbs. |

The instructions in my box say 70. That's where I put mine at. |

I split the difference. 75#. At least by my old torque wrench. I need to get it in to be checked out. Perhaps I'll drop it at the cal lab for a quick "G-Job" tomorrow! CJ |

Forgot to mention that's 70 using their moly lube on the threads/ nut face. It was higher using 30wt oil but i don't recall what it is. |

i torqued mine to 85ftlbs with oil, just to help my head gasket problems. |

I also start with 80 ftlbs on a cast iron SL6, then bump it up to 85 on a warm retorque, after a couple of heat cycles. DD |
