Offhand does anyone know what size rearend is on a 74 Valiant with a v8.
I saw one while at a salvage yard yesterday and forgot to check it.
Also wheres that link to rear-end identity, I did a search and could not find it. And save the jokes- I looked in the mirror already
TIA

Be aware that the late 7 1/4 as was used in the Dakota and others has a 10 bolt cover and tapered axle tubes. If it's in a '74 Valiant and it is small bolt pattern it should be a 7 1/4 or if it's big bolt pattern with a 9 bolt cover.

9 bolt cover is a 7 1/4. They came both small and large bolt pattern. 10 bolt round cover is an 8 1/4.

Uh yeah I shoulda looked closer when I was there the first time as I would have noticed that the rearend was already gone. lol

But I did notice they had a 71 (what I was told) D100 pick up. Looked like an 8-3/4 BBP
Also with a 4 speed manual transmission.
