How do you get the assembly apart with out damaging it? Thanks, Mike |

There's a very large sheetmetal nut that holds the sidemarker to the fender. The nut's on the inside. Use a metal-bristle brush to brush clean the threads, then unscrew the nut (it has teeth to bite into the fender; it's also the marker light's ground path). Then pull the sidemarker out from the outside. The chrome bezel unscrews from the potmetal body, and then you can access the bulb. |

Thanks. I am gonna have to find my PB blaster before I try anything. I have the whole housing out right now, just didn't want to force anything that didn't need to be. Mike |

Thanks again Dan, my car looks much better with all the lights shining bright. Things came right apart once I knew where they were supposed to separate, and no broken parts either. Mike |
