Post subject:  help,carb adapters for super six intakes
I am tired of messing with my bbd, it runs like crap, does anyone know of an adapter to go from a bbd to a 2300 series holley??? i cant afford the intake from aussie speed right now and I'm thinking about the South African 4bbl intake with an adapter but money's tight with all my projects that are going on. So please "someone drop me a freak'n bone here! "

If you do the search you can look up the 'beyond the super six' thread I had started years back.

You are after a Holley 2300 0-7448. Mr Gasket # 1937....


Lokar kickdown linkage for A904 as needed.

Is that adapter small enough? I thought the rotten-chester had a bigger bolt spread than the bbd. Trans-dapt has one at jegs 969-2040 that looks really close. Marrows, did you have to modify the adapter any?

that adapeter works just fine on a super six intake. i'm using the holley 500 with no problems right now, but you will definiatly need the kickdown cable from lokar and the bracket adapter for the side of the carb to the cable works.
