is the cuda a " A-body" I believe it is but can't find a listing for all the body styles. will the parts from a 74 barracuda fit my 68 sedan dart? Thinking this would be a good disc brake, 8" rear end conversion with a driveshaft (I'm planning on a 225->318 conversion and already have BB torsion bars). Don't think the engine has run in years so I don't think I'd get any other parts out of it (int. is shot). is it worth tryin to get???

Thanks for the help
cheers

If it is a '74 barracuda, then no, it't not an A-body. IIRC the last year for the A-body barracuda was '69. Then they moved to the larger E-Body platform. Unless you accidentally typoed and it's a '64 Barracuda. 8)

I'm not sure exactly what parts will swap, but I can't imagine there being very many that do.

The 73 and 74 E-body used the same spindle and hardware (calipers, discs), that the 1973-1976 A-body did... transmission, engine, EI, almost everything else is a for that platform only...

for the price these days an E-body hulk will fetch the same price as a really nice A-body....sadly
