was going to assemble my topend today and get ready to measure for push rods when I noticed the machinist had pulled the dowels that align the head on the block and he forgot to replace them.

anybody know what kits are available (easy to get?) besides going to a Mopar Parts counter and ordering one?

thanks...

D-man,

I have just used 1/4" stell rod from the hardware store and cut/filed it to fit. Cheap, quick and effective.

Went to autozone they don't have them.
Had to special order (minimum 25) from Napa as they don't stock them (same pin works for all mopar G/LA/B blocks and some chevy 4 cylinders...
Balkamp #600-1604)

uggghhh...

At least I'll have spares.
