i have a 1970 plymouth valiant 225 /6 and i was wondering if my stock exhaust manifold will work with a 2bbl intake manifold and carb? |

If there is no back wall on the choke "stove" (spring) mounting pocket, then it is the correct manifold for the Super Six and it's special choke spring. It should look like this:  All SL6 exhaust manifolds will bolt-up to the Super Six intake but you may need to use a manual or an electronic choke if the choke spring mounting area is not correct for the Super Six's special choke spring. I guess I should have either been clearer or just left this one alone. I was thinking more about physical fit than all the bells and whistles working. Thanks Doc for the complete answer. |
