The choke will not operate on my Holley. IIRC when I first bought this car it was working. Not now.

After many months I put it on the road.

I haven't touched the carb and the cam will not allow the choke to close. It is locked.

Hit it with carb cleaner followed by some good penetrating oil (PB B'laster is readily available locally; Kroil is my favourite; WD-40 and Liquid Wrench are useless) and see if that doesn't free it up.

I did something like Kroil (forgot the name) nothing happened. It wiggles a little. I am off to work in a few.

My speedo doesn't work on this thing. Via Yahoomaps going to and from work yesterday a paltry 15.5 mpg. Who knows how fast I was going  The East Nashville trailer trash last owner broke the speedo cable mount on the back.

Tune up is in order.

I bought a cheapy mini tach to sort of keep an eye on the speed.

Well, you know where to find me if/when you decide it's time for a brand-new carburetor!

I have a scout looking for a Super Six setup. I have a manifold just really need the kick down.

Hopefully you'll have a nice BBD left over. Or maybe one of those Strombergs.
