Post subject:  Kickdown cable

After finally pulling out the Lokar kickdown cable for my dart, I'm not sure it will work. I'm beginning to wonder if they sent me the wrong one. I may be able to get it to work with some extra springs, but I don't want to do that if I don't have to. Pic's would be helpful.

I WILL NOT DRIVE THE CAR TILL IT WORKS PROPERLY!!

PS. OH by the way it's going on a 64 Dart GT, 225 clifford manifold, 390 holley, 904 PB freshly rebuilt w/ lots o'extras .

Thanks for any help.

How is the carb mounted, "sideways" or front to back like the Super Six 2 bbl shown below?
The factory Super Six linkage pieces are pretty easy to adapt onto a front to back mounted 4 bbl set-up.

In that case, you will have to make-up some custom linkage brackets and a "bellcrank" if you want mechanical kick-down linkage or use the brackets to mount the Locker K.D. Cable.
