It is very much worth your while to get the good gaskets for the manifolds-to-head and intake-to-exhaust junctions. The sheetmetal intake-to-exhaust gasket almost never seals well.

Remflex.com makes an excellent gasket for this joint.

Aspirator air system: you may find to the rear of your manifolds an extra hole left unplugged, it took me months to find this agravating leak!
Remflex is the way to go on gaskets, they dont make a gasket for the exhaust pipe itself but send a nice bicuit of their material for you to play with, just overlay your gasket on this buscuit cut out the center, works perfect!

There's no hole in either manifold related to the secondary air injection or aspirator system; that hole is at the rear of certain 1972-up cylinder heads. Some late-production exhaust manifolds have a threaded hole on the rear wall of the central collector for an oxygen sensor.

Remflex is one of two equally-good ways to go on the gasket, if we're considering only the quality of the gaskets and the speed with which they're delivered. Ted provided the Remflex link, and I provided the other.

If we also consider vendor support of the slant-6 community, the GPRS (Australian) gasket wins bigtime, because of the MLS head gaskets they're making for us — right now in a version for the iron block, and soon in a version for the aluminum, too.
