I bought this sweet ride for 500 bux i needed a cheap MOPAR to do the power tour with next summer and here's what i got.

1976 Dodge Dart Sport
225 slant six -Yes the leaning tower of POWER

That's a sharp '76! Looks clean and straight and original, and well equipped with (at least) factory A/C and remote sideview mirror. Post a good, clear, sharp picture of the fender tag (on the driver's side inner fender, about a 2" tall by 3" wide metal tag stamped with letters and numbers) and we can tell you when your car was built, and how it was originally equipped.

If that's you in the 2nd picture, I think I might have you beat in the beard department... Image :cool:

do these have a build sheet under the seat like Older mopars do?

btw for everyone im a mopar nut ive had my 70 gran coupe barracuda for almost 20 years and my 70 T/A challenger for almost 13 years.and no thats not me in the pic with the beard thats the guy i bought the car from :D

Looks pretty sweet! I have been looking around for a Duster/Dart Sport for a drag car and can only find junk and they want $1800 for a car thats not nearly as nice as that. Good deal. :D

yeah it was luck i found this car a member from my local mopar board bought a charger from this guys kid and i said i was looking for a cheap A-body to take on the hot rod power tour next summer and he said i know where theres a decent one and bam.

i did a full tune up and powerwashed the engine bay reinstalled some of the interior all i need now is a good dual knob am/fm radio

next up is going through the brakes and removing the old gas and cleaning out the fuel line
