I can't stop thinking about building a race slant! help! I need to know what parts to build a stout bottom end for a 225.as far as I can tell the only forged crank is in the 76 and older blocks, and there is nothing after market am I right? also I'm going with a long rod motor and I need 8-9:1 compression.I don't think the wisco set will do, don't like machining pistons as it needs as thick as possible top and a tall ring land. will 2.2 pistons hold a ton of boost or should I have cutom ones built?has there been a mls gasket built yet? Thanks for any help as I'll need it because it will most likely get broken as I won't stop pushing it till I get 1000hp. yes I have a sickness and the only cure is more power. Nick

I would have Wisco do a custom piston with there new rods. MLS gasket is made in Australia and currently available. Forged crank is plenty strong just choose a good piece.
Good luck and keep us posted Maybe start a new thread in the Gallery section.

Frank,

Where is the MLS gasket from Australia available? I have heard a couple of rumors, but no knowledge of these.

MLS is different (another ballpark better) from the nice composition ones I brought in a couple of years back.

Thanks,

Lou
