My first set of cragars, always wanted a set. Im in the process of a disc brake (front) upgrade and needed to go bigger with the rims. They are 14 x 7 all around, got a good deal on them. The rear leaf springs are basically shot- perfectly horizontal with no load so thats next on the list.

I still need to put them on the other side (notice the curb?) yeah, par for the course as they say.
The other picture is of my helper -all he does tho is eat, s**t, and sleep.

Hey, nice ride!

Looks great with those new wheels, gotta love that black 'n' chrome look. Plus it's always good to see a four door 8)

Hmm, I'd be interested to see what you get done with those leaf springs. Mine are 'W' shaped they are so out of shape . . .

Lookin' sharp! I've got the Cragars on my '62. They seem to go well with that body style.

8) Thx, I like the body style with 'em too, theres some mesmerizing effect that comes into play. Those wheels had been on the shelf for a few years at a shop here and I've had my eye on them since my 66 dart (got towed, lien sale, no money, etc). I like the slot mags too but, to use the vernacular, "deez gots dat blang" lol.

If there were more hours in the day and more money in my wallet I would try to fabricate some (don't laugh) carbon fiber leafs springs myself based on the design of some fiberglass ones I've seen, flex-a-form I think? But they are big bux- Probably going to go with some cheap helper springs for the time being.

I love it! Very nice. The early body style looks great in black and the Cragars really set it off nicely.

A friend of mine always finds a neighbour's cat in with his engine when he is working on his diesel F*rd. He claims he is the first person ever to de-cat a diesel. That joke wears thin . . .

Cragars look good on just about every '60s and '70s cars. I always knew when I got a car, I would put cragars on it. I bought mine and it already had them on it! 8) Saved some money right there. Gotta love em! :D

That's a good looking car.

I thought all the early 60's Valiants came out of the factory with flat leaf springs. :D

Very cool! I didn't think the early Valiants could pull off Cragars that nicely.
