I am new to this website. I have a 63 Dart Gt Convertable. I am looking to do some things to my 225 to make it more peppy. What should I do to it? I want a nice sounding cam.

a properly adjusted kickdown linkage will work wonders. I finally got around to adjusting mine today. It's amazing how much sportier my car is now. To put my foot down and having the car downshift is nice.

It depends on your goals and budget - this could mean anything from a mild cam and bolt ons, to something crazy involving a custom fabricated turbo installation. How much time and money are you looking to put into this? Will it be used primarily on the street, for drag racing, or...?

It will be just for the street. I want something that just sounds great.

If you want it to sound great, then do some exhaust work, that should get your sound. Flowmaster 40 or Super 40 muffles seems to be a fav for sound, some say close to a V8 sound. I think most go for a 2 1/4" - 2 1/2" Exhaust with a crossover, like an x-pipe or an h-pipe.
