hey guys i was on chragslist the other day looking up stuff and they had some big holleys and edelbroks of like 75 bucks i was wondering how BIG can i gowith my offy and slant thanks josh |

What mods have you made to the engine? If it's stock, 500cfm or smaller. If you've bumped the compression up significantly, and installed a big cam, you can breath a 600 cfm. CJ |

.080 overmill block and head to acheive 12.5:1 compression 300 degree advertised duration camshaft with a 102 LSA and .680 lift Substitute the valve springs for the ones out of a coil over suspension from a 1965 Lincoln Continental Use Valves from a 351-4V Cleveland even though they don't fit (use more assembly lube you can force them in there...just notch the bore enough so you can use the leak fromthe water jacket to supress detonation like water injection on steroids) Use late model forged crank but use an angle grinder to bob the counter weights to drop some rotating mass... ![]() Hang on I'm going back to Bench Racers anonymous.... ![]() -D.idiot |
