I'm curious about the rear lighting configuration on this car. I can see it has the expected European-code H4 headlamps, but I wonder if whoever imported it to The Netherlands was required to retrofit amber rear turn indicators, or if the U.S. red variety was allowed to remain. |

You can import the car like it was originally built. Only the headlights should be changed. The red turn signals should not be a problem if the car was built that way. But I heard sometimes there is some discussion at the import check. About the exact colour of the rear lenses, their ability to reflect light, the side-marker setup, flashing parking lights...etc. I think it all depends who is checking and the interpretation of regulations. |
