Got 2 of the 3 books dan recomended didnt get the factory book figured i can fing specs online. but when it comes to buying the actual kit im leary of where to go. Price is a factor and would like a decent reliable kit from a trustworthy company for a reasonable price.

There's no online substitute, including this board, for the factory service manual. Your work will be a whole lot easier, faster, and less costly with the FSM than without it.

You might also check around for one of the Chilton shop manuals for domestics for your year, it will have all those same specs in it. I have all the service manuals 30's-08, if you need some pages scanned, I can probably arrange that... My dad owned a shop for years, so I have a wealth of resources at my disposal...

I'm using the old manuals from the 60's and 70's, not the little ones you get at napa, etc. They have been fairly accurate so far on my 66 and 73.

You really do need a factory service manual. The aftermarket books just aren't worth buying, whether they're new or old.
