anyone ever use wysco headers? I had never heard of them until today. I did a search on them but came up with little. They seem to lean more toward video/electronic system equipment. heres a link to JEGS for them. The price is right, I'll say that. Wish they had a picture, also the shipping date would be 7 to 8 weeks... http://www.jegs.com/i/Wysco/938/MA028/10002/-1

That's VERY cheap for ceramic coated slant headers...

Sounds too good to be true. I, too, would be very interested in seeing pics of the finished product.

I'd like to see those too. They have a website - http://wysco.com/ - but no Slant 6 headers shown. They have a phone number.

What I find odd is that Jegs doesn't list applications of these headers. Will they fit my '68 Dart or my Dad's Owattona swather? How about a fork lift?

Please give us the details of what you found out. What models do they fit? Length? Dual or single outlet? ...etc.

Thanks,

Rick

I think the best would be 30" primary pipes, and a bit more straight out of the head than the Clifford Shorties. Maybe just duplicating Clifford shorties but with those two changes would be best.

Do they have a motor/car they can mock up on?? I could be a guinea pig for 67-76 A-body and 63-66 A-body.

Lou

So is the listing for a header that's on the shelf, or one they hope to make after they take the orders?
I would go for a set for my 66 Valiant, it's time to move on from the super six setup, and most of the intakes I've looked at don't work with the stock exhaust.

Most of the aftermarket manifolds don't have the heat stove that is held to the exhaust manifold by three bolts. The only one I know of for sure is the Offenhauser, the rest I've seen would leave the heat stove on the stock exhaust open, and one must think pretty noisy.

Make a plate and seal the opening on the top of the stock exhaust manifold.

basicly these guys are going to make them from scratch. Your cars would be great Lou but they are in CA and I think thats a bit far for you. I think Doc would be a good choice but I'm not sure if he has anything newer that the Da'cuda  . Thats why we need pic's to show them what we need. I want a set for a '74 scamp and someone needs them for a 64 valiant. We should be a collective for this and show them the stuff we like.
