i want to give the rear on my car a bit of a lift what do you guys suggest?

Don't. A-bodies become very tail happy when you lift the rear end. If you want the "raked" look, it would be better to lower the front and/or use a taller tire in the rear and shorter tires in the front.

Just get rid of the sagged stock rear springs and replace with a set of 5 leaf springs, and don't store a full toolbox in the trunk....
