I saw this on ebay and was wondering if it would fit up to Mopars? I assume is would since it says he thinks it's a Mopar bolt pattern. If so, how would one know which GM 833ODs have the Mopar bolt patterns? I would think it would be easier to find one out of an 80s Chevy truck, as opposed to a 80s Dodge truck (at least in my parts anyways). Eventually (aka when I get out of college and start making real money...) I want to put an 833OD in my '64 D100. Sure would be nice to have that overdrive. Thanks, Stephan |

The main case's front bolt pattern is different bewtween the GM and Mopar A-833 O.D.s, and I suspect the output shaft has a different splne count, too. Hold out for a Mopar version, they are not that hard to find...keep your eyes peeled for a '76-'86 van with one. |
