I have never done it, but always thought it would work well. It will most likely require some tuning on the carb. |

I have two. One on my 360. I have a much better inventory of Thermoquads (insert Slantzilla's opinion of TQ's) Metering rods and jets are easier to find than TQ's. The airvalve on the secondaries will adjust the airflow via engine demand. So in theory you can't over carb your engine. Theu do not like a lot of fuel pressure. GM built some of their OHC sixes with the Qjet. |

Hey, Rug; any chance of a Furd or I-H version of a TQ in your pile? They had a self contained ("black dial") choke rather than having to use a stock Mopar well-style choke. |

I have a Quadrajet on my 225 and I like it better than the 625 CFM AFB I was using before. I'm still working on a disc brake upgrade so I haven't had much of a chance to drive it and get it jetted properly. It runs fine with the Chevy jetting but it needs tuning for best fuel economy and power. Slant Six Quadrajet ![]() |

I think I have a I-H version. It doesn't have an electric choke.

Slant Six Quadrajet ![]() You sure you want to run your fuel line to that Qjet like that? ![]() |

This arrangement hasn't caused me any vapor lock problems in the past and is the same as the 1bbl routing. However, I may try the fuel line routing recommended by SlantSixDan when I finally start driving it again. |

Keep in mind if you race IIRC only 6" of rubber in the fuel system total to pass tech. |
