I just ordered a new Super Six decal PN#DD0140 from Jim Osborn Reproductions, and I was wonderind if anyone knows of a good valve cover decal I can compliment it with? Somthind Plymouth or Mopar? There seems to be nothing out there for slants. Just wondering.

Let me know what people want in the way of slant decals and I might be able to make them up. I run a small vinyl graphics business and print stickers for old outboard motors, so why not a few for the slants.
sorry about the self promotion. PM me with questions

I put together a design based on the Hemi decal, I don't have a picture yet but the sticker will have 225, 198 or 170 in place of the 426 and Slant Six were it says Hemi powered. Under that will be the hp ratings. So far I have found 10 different hp's . I doubt anyone really wants the world to know that there '75 225 is only 95hp but I'll make it anyway.

The 1960 Plymouth had a nice valve cover decal on the all-new 225 engine. You can get it from Osborne, under p/n DD-564.

It would be great to see some images. I like the idea of the OEM looking '60 decal as well, for the car geek in all of us.

Well, OK, ya twisted my arm. I'm supposed to be working, but instead I'm goofin' around with the scanner, as it seems. This decal is printed on transparent stock, so the valve cover paint (deep metallic turquoise on the '60 models) shows through the clear areas. It's a little tough to see in this scan, because there's white ink on the decal and the decal is on off-white backing paper. Note the outer perimeter of the decal is the oval/cat-eye shape.

I was thinking like putting the Super 225 air cleaner decal on the valve cover, but I want the 225 in blue like the Super Six decal instead of red. Or the 426 Super Stock valve cover decals to say 225 Slant Six or Super Six and the orange stripe to be blue. Just some thoughts.

I wouldn't do it. This seems like one of those ideas that sounds really good right now, but in a year you'll wish you just left it alone.

Why? I have had this idea for some time now, and I was just looking for a way to put a custom touch to my engine.

Not really my cuppa tea, but maybe this decal is along the lines of what you're after?
