Hi there everyone.
Question for you all.
If you were to build the perfect longblock what would it consist of ie; Head casting # Block casting #

This is going to be a Nitrous motor and is going to see LOTS of abuse.

Your thoughts are welcome.

Ok great thanks Doug. Engine building tricks are very useful. and your info confermed what I ve found with the BH blocks. But what about heads
Ive got o 30+ to choose from.

OR others opinions from other people.

Other opinions...

I like the 74 on up blocks and the 78 on up heads.

The 78 and up heads have the newer chamber and use the peanut plugs.
The engine stays much cleaner too.
