shot peen my crank and con rods there is a kinda local shot peening place and i was thinkin bout it what do yall say i know the trucks had shot peened cranks and con rods but most of em around here are shot by now.

I wouldn't bother with the crank. Rods would be OK. :shock:

I had both done on my engine rebuild and had everything balanced. It just helps keeps the stress cracks from developing. I have no vibration from the rotating assembly aside from the higher compression when running. It spins up to 4000 in heart beat as a result.
