Need wiper blade refills for a 1963 Dodge Dart. I've tried the refills that can be obtained at NAPA, Checker Auto Parts and Auto Zone. The 13" refills are a little short and don't fit very well. The factory parts manual says the number is 23-67-25 for the refill and 23-67-5 for the arm and blade. Anyone have a source for either the refill or or whole works? TIA --Walt Jackson |

The 13" refills at Pep Boys (Rally) fit my 64 fine. The metal part is exactly 13" long. |

No, those are part type code identifiers — 23 (body) 67 (wipers) 25 (refill). Same identifier for all Chrysler cars. You have to then page through Section 23 of the FPC to find the actual 7-digit part number for your particular kind of car under that type code identifier. But it doesn't matter in this case; Chrysler quit supplying those parts many, many years ago.It looks like Anco are suggesting their #N13R refill for this application. That's an all-plastic refill from the masters of cheapening and crappification at Federal-Mogul, and I have to think it's probably too narrow. Trico #43-130 looks much more promising; it's a metal-spine 13" refill of apparently correct width with a spring-lock retainer at one end. |

Dan, You're right about the part number. You'd think I would know this by now! The blade refill number is 2291909. The arm and blade number is 2426814. Thanks for the suggestions. --Walt Jackson |

I have resorted to just getting a metal refill and taking the rubber out of it and re-using the metal strip I had. You can get longer ones and trim them to fit. Even if you have the right part number, they never seem to have them in stock. When I make it up to Oregon or Washington I try to stock up for our older cars. The parts stores up there usually seem to have the good refills for older cars. |

They show up once in a while on EBay, that's where I got mine. Good luck. Joe |

I use standard 15" Anco replacements. The 13" one's are way to small for my liking. |

You're right: the 15" will work, but I'm trying to keep my '63 Dart GT hardtop as stock as possible. Thanks, --Walt Jackson |
