| Post subject: | Flywheel bolt size |
I've read they are 7/16 - 20. is that right? Also, why is there a HUGE discrepancy in cost? some go for a buck a piece and some are as much as $40 for a set? will grade 8 or 10 bolts from the depot work or do I have to order and wait for them to show up? |

Yeah, that's right. You want shouldered flywheel bolts not fully threaded hardware store stuff. Small block Chevy's use the same bolt so they are easy to find. Try Pioneer 859026. |
