That is pretty sweet, I'd still be a little concerned about all of those pieces/parts in my intake stream though. |

looks like a rube goldberg contraption. it's possible performance and fuel economy have been enhanced marginally for the sake of original appearance, but at what cost? probably a fortune. if you are that concerned with your engine's apparance that you would go to such lengths to inject it, (for what? cost savings? driveability?) show me where this setup saves you any money, or grief over the real deal. what were the final numbers in terms of money and time spent on this project? (ps i am aware that this is not your handiwork fanie) |

Agreed! O well I can appreciate that someone is prepared to go to those lengths - these concourse and semi concourse guys are nuts - was looking at the screw kits they sell on epay - "plain, zincplated or chromed as per original application" DUDE I want stainless allover period - I am trying to make my rust bucket less rusty not potentially prone to more rust

69barracuda - I get MoparMuscle every month and noticed that article. It was a very cool idea, one you could probably do for pretty cheap. I just can't get over putting stuff where your optimum air flow goes. The key is they did a good job with keeping it neat and clean, did you notice they had to angle number 8 wierd? Anyways, I'm a firm believer in Fuel Injection now and like when they try to keep it somewhat original. I really like the 4 barell looking ones, or even better the six packs that actually fit onto an original intake I think. |

I agree about stuff in the air flow - and try to trouble shoot one of the injectors, the IAC and so on - Due to the Massive cross ram plenum size I don't think flow wold be impacted by much - that said I wish the made a molded cover for the lot to keep all neat Another option would have been hemi/slant style drool tubes- but then the wiring and fuel lines would be visible. |

I've heard of people installing nitrous on the bottom side of an intake (V8) just to hide it some. Of course it's not in the air flow. |
