All,

I'm still working on my 73 dart, and the turbo will be moving forward once this floor gets finished. Taking a long time, longer than I'd hoped... Oh well, such is cars. Anyways, I'm shooting for 300rwhp when I'm done. That means I need a bit more than that out of the engine, is this possible in a slant? I'm sure anything is possible, but, is it possible in a street car, without nos, and with a turbo??

300 horsepower is quite plausible on a turbo with enough boost. What sort of turbo are you running?

@matt

I haven't got that far, I'm currently replacing the floor, the turbo selection is still up in the air for it...

Here's what I'm doing right now:

Sounds like I should be able to do it, I'm going to pull my engine apart, and take a book I have about building top fuel engines, and build it to that sort of spec, meaning fully balanced, etc.

300 at the wheels will be in the neighborhood of 365 at the crank. Choose your parts wisely and it should be a piece of cake. :D
