Hi everyone, Does anyone know about scale models ? I know the Valiant range exists in 1:24 scale 4 door sedans and unfortunately that is pretty much it. Were the Lancers available as sedans as well ? Did any of them come out as 2 door hardtops ( Valiants or Lancers )? O.K. now for the most difficult of all questions :- Did any Valiant or Lancer at all come out in stationwagon form ? In the past I've picked up a 4 door '60 Valiant sedan but missed out on heaps of others. I was thinking it would be nice to have one of each model. Thanks for listening John

I don't know, but I know exactly whom to ask. Been some years since I heard from him; I'll see if I can scare 'im up.

Yes, they did. They are somewhat hard to find anymore, but if you keep a continual eye on Ebay, they do pop up from time-to-time.

If you can do resin kits,R&R VACUMM CRAFT has several early Valiant models in 1/25 and has a nice lookin 65 Dart GT. Just google R&R Vacumm Craft and it will pull up distributors for their kits.Be forwarned, they are not cheap, about $60 a piece plus shipping.

My thanks to both GTS225 - Rodger and HyperValiant. What I do know is that Chrysler came out with what I think they called "ProMos" but to my knowledge came out in 4-door sedans, mainly 1960 models, although having said that I have seen in 4-door sedans '61 and '62 models. The Stationwagons and 2-door hardtops are what really get me??? Did Chrysler produce "ProMos" in these?? How about FRICTION powered ones ??? The ones I missed out on were on E-bay. As for R & R Vacuum Craft yes they do have these models on hand, but I made the mistake of going into their "FORUM" to get a feel of the comments going around,I'm afraid I've become a little discouraged as I've never put a kit together in my life. For the short term I'll wait and see what SlantSixDan may come up with, he is an extremely cluey man. Thanks again John OH HAPPY NEW YEAR to All

revell had a lancer gt model. it was molded in a metalflake color. i see those on ebay from time to time. unbuilt ones tend to be pricey. other than that all i've seen is some japanese tin friction powered valiants and i think they were 4 doors

The Palmer kits a really CHEESY. Revell also had a 62 Valiant that was a real nice kit with plenty of extras and a really good rendition of the venerable /6 with aftermarket intake, header and finned aluminum valve cover.
Speaking of small scale slants,my wife got me 2 of the Ross Gibson Hyper-Pak engines for Christmas to install in a a couple of my scale A-Bodies.

Hey Jesus, Thanks for the tip of the Palmer kit being on Ebay, it finished yesterday, unfortunately for me I missed out again. It started at $4.50 I put a bid on of $20, then right at the end got involved in getting my wifes car ready for registration. It takes all kinds Thanks again John
