Okay, this isn't a slant six mobile, it's my '67 Charger. I'm trying to put the nut on that goes onto the upper ball joint. When I try to tighten it, it just keep turning. Am I supposed to put a wrench on somewhere else to keep it from turning? Any helpful suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks! |

Wes, is the suspension on the car so you can jack it up and get weight on it? You have to get the tapered stud to wedge deep enough into the spindle to have friction to keep it from turning. I have also had luck holding the ball joint against the spindle with a big pair of channel locks. |
