Dan, I know you are not a fan of the LED conversion bulbs on the street, and rightly so. However, I am wondering if they would be of any value on my race car for reduced current draw. The car has no headlights, but we are required to have working tail lights. Just for safety, I always like to have front parking lights too so I can be seen on the return road and in the pits at night. Is there a signifigant difference in draw between LED's and regular 1157 bulbs? The car will have an alternator, but since run time is short battery discharge is still part of the game.

Thanks! :D

If this car never sees street service, and the only requirement is that there be lights (of any kind) on the car, no specific performance requirements for safety and legal compliance as on the street, then go ahead and toss in the "LED conversions".

Thanks Dan. The car will never see street use, this one is a true race car.
