could putting on a different breather make it so oil is squirting out of where the dipstick goes in[its just a little bit of oil though]. the breather i had before didn't have a hose that came out of it so i got one with a hose adapter because i heard i was better. my last one was a round chrome edelbrock breather |

If the breather is restrictive it will cause an increase in crankcase pressure. I would carefully examine the PCV system and the breather. If you're using the standard push-in breather on a 3-hole valve cover get a stock replacement breather. Stant has them. |

So which is better on my race car a breather,air cleaner, or bud nipper,but I tend to race better with a little bud if you know what I mean Thanks It Aint Over Until I Win |

Your car needs a breather, but if you are a bud nipper (either variety) you will want an air cleaner in the car if you get pulled over to avoid any incriminating smells. |
