| Post subject: | Cam Bearings |
So I bought some cam bearings off ebay- $22 and change. They arrived today and, well... I'll claim ignorance here since i have never actually seen new cam bearings...I thought these looked a bit iffy, sharp edges, small nicks on edge, etc, pics follow. Is this how new bearings should look?

Looks like the bearings were knocking against each other in the box. Deburr them and they will be fine. |

when you fit the cam after installing your bearings don`t be afraid to smooth them with fine sand paper and oil to make sure the cam spins free, some bearing get a little distorted when they are installed and create high spots. |
