Just picked up my slant 6 it is out of a 70' Dart with a 904 can anyone tell me if this is an over drive tranny. If not anyone want to tell me what to look in or for to find overdrive?

It is not. I don't recall when they started but a 1970 is definitely not.

The 904 was never an overdrive transmission. Lock-up torque converters started appearing in the late 70s, and the wide ratio gearset in the early 80s. The overdrive auto transmission are the A500 and the A518. These were never factory installed behind a slant six.
